This project involved creating a complete Learning Management System (LMS) — an interactive platform where users can log in, access company-specific content, take quizzes, track progress, and download completion certificates.
The goal was to combine Webflow’s powerful design flexibility with Supabase’s secure and scalable backend to build a modern, dynamic learning experience that could grow with the client’s needs.
When I first began building the client login system, my plan was to keep everything fully native to Webflow, tightly integrated with the CMS for smooth content management.
However, midway through development, Webflow removed their native Membership features and began recommending Memberstack as an alternative for subscription management.
Rather than limiting the project to one platform, I wanted to find the most reliable and future-ready solution — so I presented the client with two clear options:
1. Use Memberstack
→ Offers built-in authentication, subscription tools, and a no-code setup for recurring payments.
→ Great for clients who prefer simplicity and quick deployment.
2. Use Webflow with Supabase as the backend
→ Provides complete customization, real-time database updates, and full control over user data.
→ Supports scalable logic for things like quizzes, user progress tracking, and certificate generation — all secured by Supabase’s authentication and row-level security policies.
→ Ideal for long-term growth and advanced app-style functionality.
After reviewing both setups and discussing pros and cons, the client chose to go with Webflow powered by Supabase — a lightweight, secure, and future-proof solution that offers total ownership of their data and limitless possibilities for expansion.

I’m currently testing new Webflow app features, but to finish development I need a paid Webflow plan that allows script injection for testing and verification.
If you enjoy seeing how I build tools like this from Supabase logins to animation systems, 3D experiences, and more, your support helps me reach that goal.
I’m aiming to raise $30 to cover the Webflow plan so I can publish and test the next app publicly.
Every bit helps. Just click the Support button on my site to contribute 💪🏾
